I have a form of trichotillomania known as trichophagia (Meaning that I eat the hair, and yes, it's "root"). I also have "dermotillomania" which, understandably, is the alter-ego of the hair-pulling bit- it's where you pick at and eat your skin. Usually around your fingers/cuticles.
