Eating or cooking something delicious will also help! Treat yourself with a cup of tea or hot chocolate! Take a bubble bath or get a massage! These are just a few methods that could be of great anxiety self help, allowing one to reduce the frequency and the intensity of the panic attacks. Plus, the techniques learned in various therapeutic sessions such as yoga relaxation, breathing methods, positive thinking, neuro-linguistic programming should also be put into practice day after day.

Increased self-awareness is another way of coping with an anxiety disorder. A great deal of the discomfort experienced because of this will disappear if you replace the anger with acceptance. Detachment could also be a good anxiety self help method if you know how to put it into practice: judge your condition in terms as objective as possible. You don't label it good or bad, just rate it on a scale from 0 to 10 and see how it evolves up or down. An anxiety condition does not define who you are!

Stop fearing! Replace your negative thoughts and the constant worries with positive thinking. If you find it difficult to be positive and content: look around you and identify beautiful things that make you feel good. Then, such anxiety self help will be a lot more efficient and noticeable in your state of mind! Otherwise, fear will continue a vicious circle in which you attract the experience you are most scared of.
